Oak Stairs.

Building curving stairs has many difficulties for the woodworker. Undoubtedly the toughest part was, [guided by George Ellis’s superb book on Stairbuilding of 1930] setting out and making the curving falling handrail from 3 short 9cm thick pieces of oak and then moulding the wreathed shape.
