All the veneers and solid lippings are from the same tree which was toppled by the January 1990 storm at Ropley, Hampshire, and contained over 200 cu feet of superb wood.

The sandwiched construction allows the books to be stored evenly round the piece, and for a variety of book sizes, from novels on the top shelves to coffee table type books in the middle.

The alternating of the shelves creates a pleasing overlapping effect with inlay on the rounded corners.

Awarded a Bespoke Guid Mark by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers in 2022.
